From the earliest of times, humans have looked up at the night sky and attempted to make sense of the patterns and shapes that fill it. The belief that human lives are influenced by the relative position of stars and planets still persists today and is commonly known as astrology.
Many non-believers still consider the art of reading stars to be a load of superstition. However, whether you believe in it or not, it’s one of those fun personality analyses that piques your interest. Writing for a travel website, I grew interested in the relationship between horoscopes and travelling. After consulting the stars, I’ve come up with my own list of ideal travel destinations according to horoscope signs.
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Recommended travel theme: Adventure
The ram is most known for his outgoing nature, for taking risks and for his love for challenges. Leader of the zodiac, the ram enjoys initiating important endeavours and effectively has an unlimited supply of energy and vigour. He prefers travelling to exotic places with challenging terrains and would enjoy skydiving, hiking up mountains and other demanding activities like water rafting and kayaking.
Destinations that give a good challenge:

Bulls prize stability and familiarity. They’re not the kind who would take a leap of faith and adventurous activities are not for them. They are however highly intuitive and delight in employing their senses of taste, smell and touch. So its not surprising that they also possess a keen eye for aesthetics and an equally passionate love for gourmet food. Cities like Singapore have some of the best mix of food and are a shopaholic’s paradise. What’s more, it doesn’t experience natural disasters – the best place for our stable bulls.

The exotic blend of spices makes Indian food one of the most delicious in the world. It even gives Hong Kong a good run for its money. These destinations are suited for all shopaholics and foodies.

Gemini twins, blessed with brilliance and wit, seek a forward-looking culture and are inspired by beautiful architecture. Places like Denmark and Dubai are some of the most socially progressive places in the world and will illuminate the lives of Geminis.
