Everyone knows the Great Wall of China, but not so many people know that India has its own Great Wall too. Located in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India, the wall around the ancient Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second longest wall in the world. With its great resemblance to the well-known counterpart in China, it has been aptly named “The Great Wall of India”.

Kumbhalgarh Fort was commissioned by local ruler Rana Kumbha in the 15th century and enlarged through 19th century.
