Beijing has prepared enormously when it hosted the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. Aside from the profound Olympic Stadium known as the Bird’s Nest, it also constructed the Beijing National Aquatics Centre. Despite not having the exact dimensions of a cube, it is still colloquially called the Water Cube.

After Michael Phelps won eight gold medals in 2008, the government has struggled to make the complex commercially profitable. Fortunately, lucrative renovation was done to turn part of the Olympic Water Cube into a “Happy Magic Water Park”. Its bubble-like exterior, state-of-the-art water sports facilities and family-oriented water park made it a popular leisure centre in Beijing.

Let’s take a glimpse of its new, fun and creative interior.
