In a major upset, Doha‘s Hamad International Airport has soared to the number one spot, dethroning the long-reigning Changi Airport in Singapore. Changi, a 12-time champion, now holds the runner-up position but remains a powerhouse, winning “Best Airport in Asia” and “World’s Best Airport Immigration Service.”

Hamad International Airport’s victory extends beyond the top spot. They also snagged the titles for “World’s Best Airport Shopping” and “Cleanest and Best Airport in the Middle East.”
While Doha takes centre stage, the rankings showcase a diverse range of impressive airports. Eight European hubs made the top 20, including Paris Charles de Gaulle. Asia also boasts a strong presence with seven airports in the top 20, featuring four Japanese contenders (including Tokyo‘s Haneda Airport and Narita Airport in the top five).
