IFC Mall

IFC mall is right above the Hong Kong train station. The mall is huge and has a wide range of brands available.

I usually go straight to Lane Crawford where they have a good selection of my favourite brands.

They also have ‘Sacai Luck’ which is not available in Singapore. American brands like Alexander Wang and JCrew are also available here.

Pacific Place Shopping Mall

Next stop, Harvey Nichols at Pacific Place shopping mall!  I frequented this mall the most when I was living in Hong Kong. They have L’Agence which is one of my favourite brands. I went to L’Agence a couple of times and was soon recognised by the staff as a regular customer. They rewarded me with a VIP card which gave me access to their exclusive fitting room. I was very impressed with their service!

I have been on the lookout for a nice silk blouse in bright colours. Guess where I found it? At my favourite department store, Harvey Nichols of course! I found the perfect piece by ‘robert rodriguez’ which was rather pricey but since I was already there, I had to get it! I might not be able to find the brand in Singapore too.

Next stop, La Mer cosmetics! I always buy cosmetic stuff in Hong Kong. They are much cheaper here compared to getting them in Japan or Singapore. You also get the most incredible service!

I went to the La Mer shop at Pacific Place and I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. She proceed to help put my shopping bags aside so that I could sit comfortably on the sofa. She also offered me a drink. How nice of them! I have yet to buy anything.

The best part of my experience was when they gave me an introduction of their products. It was a very fun experience as I tried the products and chatted with the knowledgeable assistant. In the end, I got their fabulous cream and foundation powder. It was a memorable experience for me. Especially when compared to the experience in Singapore or Japan where you have to wait for a long time until a staff is able to attend you.  This is frustrating since you are about to spend quite a sum of money on their products. Yet all you could do was stand around with your heavy bags as you wait for them. They do not offer a seat nor ask if you would like to try their products. It was not fun at all.

With such impressive service, I am sure all you ladies will have a great time shopping in Hong Kong. I am definitely going back again!
