New TPG Mobile Plan is the Cheapest in Singapore

50GB of data for just S$10 – NO CONTRACT!

Singapore’s newest mobile network operator, TPG, rolls out a no-contract SIM-only plan, which provides subscribers with 50GB of data for only S$10 a month – the cheapest ever in Singapore. On top of the 50GB of data, the new TPG Mobile plan includes 300 local call minutes, 30 local SMSes, and 1GB roaming data in selected countries (effective 1 May 2020).

While most mobile network operators charge users approximately S$10 for excess data, TPG is charging just a fraction of the cost – a staggering S$1 per extra GB.

Users can add excess data, calls and SMSs, simply by topping up the Wallet after logging into their respective accounts.

Richard Tan, Acting CEO of TPG Singapore said: “Based on the valuable feedback from our large service trial subscriber base, consumers here want to have easy-to-understand yet attractive mobile plans with no hidden charges.”

“The TPG proposition is simple, just S$10 per month for 50GB of data and 300 call minutes with no bill shock and no lock-in contract. We look forward to giving our customers what they want – transparency and affordability.”

This new TPG Mobile plan is favourable for consumers who make effective use of a second or third device such as a tablet or smartphone. It is available only for Singapore citizens, permanent residents, employment and long-term pass holders aged 18 years-old and above.

For more details on the plan, visit the TPG website. For those who sign up, an email to pick up the SIM card from one of the various locations will be sent upon confirmation.
