Singapore Airlines to Launch “Discover Your Singapore Airlines”

Singapore Airlines will be introducing a series of events as a part of “Discover Your Singapore Airlines”. This comes in place of their “flights to nowhere”. Singapore Airlines confirmed that this new initiative will enable them to connect more with their customers and review factors such as environmental implications and financial viability.

Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 will be hosting dinners, a perfect treat for all those who miss the travel experience. Those visiting Restaurant [email protected] will savour specially designed dishes in this unique restaurant operating for two days only. 

Diners can choose from special menus created for each cabin class. These menus will include signature international dishes and a local Peranakan menu, specially designed by acclaimed Singaporean chef Shermay Lee. Meals can be paired with alcoholic drinks or a free flow of other beverages. 

In addition, with KrisWorld, customers can choose from over 1,000 entertainment channels which include movies, TV shows, and music.

There will also be an exclusive pre-launch tour of the A380. Additionally, diners who arrive in enticing traditional heritage wear will also receive KrisShop discounts, a limited edition goodie bag, and more. 

Bookings for Restaurant [email protected] begin on 12th October and dining operations will start on 24th and 25th October.

For those not keen on dining onboard the aircraft, Singapore Airlines brings its dining experience to your homes

The home dining experience lets you choose from ten destination-themed menus. The menu features dishes from their world-renowned International Culinary Panel chefs. Drinks such as wine or champagne will also accompany the food delivered home.

Additionally, there is also an all-inclusive package available for a perfect re-creation of the First Class or Business Class experience. This comes with elegant tableware and luxurious services. 

A digital guide on heating and plating the dishes will be given to assist customers in preparing their meals. On the other hand, customers can also Book-the-Chef through their cabin crew concierge to enjoy the services of a private chef!

Bookings for the at-home dining experience begin on 5th October. They can be purchased using cash or KrisFLyer miles.

Mock-Up: Behind the Scenes Training Area

Inside Singapore Airlines will provide tours and a wide range of activities for the entire family. This includes the behind-the-scenes tour of Singapore Airlines training facilities and a tour about the 70-year history of Singapore Airlines. Visitors will also get the opportunity to interact with pilots and the cabin crew.

Children can enjoy craft activities such as balloon sculpting and making their own batik roses. They can also dress up and role play cabin crew members and take home their own Singapore Airlines sarong kebaya uniform. 

Furthermore, adults can attend sessions in a flight simulator, enjoy wine tastings and buy some popular inflight meals. They can also attend cabin crew grooming sessions. 

The tours will take place on the 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th November. Bookings for the tour will open on 1st November.

Singapore Airlines will implement all precautionary measures and follow a strict cleaning procedure so that visitors can have a safe experience when they attend events as part of “Discover Your Singapore Airlines”.
