TripZilla Launches Inaugural Excellence Awards to recognize Retail Travel Agencies – Press Release

[Singapore] TripZilla, Southeast Asia’s leading travel site, launches its inaugural excellence awards to recognize travel agencies for their experience and competencies in specific destinations and services. Being in this travel space for more than 5 years, and capturing millions of travel searches from consumers on its site every month, the leading travel site has carefully curated the award categories based on its data.

The Gap

Despite the shift online for travel research and bookings, face-to-face travel bookings are still prevalent in Singapore and around the region. However, there is a lack of information online regarding the different competencies of the retail travel agencies. The TripZilla Excellence Awards honour the most outstanding travel companies and organisations for excellence in service, innovative travel experiences and business practices. It recognizes the achievements of these organisations and endorses them as a market leader.

13 winners were selected for their specific categories:

  • Best for Europe – EU Holidays
  • Best for USA – EU Holidays
  • Best for China – Neway Travel Service
  • Best for Japan – JTB Travel
  • Best for Taiwan – Focal Travel
  • Best for Australia – Jetabout Holidays
  • Best for New Zealand – Dynasty Travel
  • Best for Thailand – Nam Ho Travel
  • Best for Vietnam – Giamso International Tours
  • Best Coach Operator – Transtar Travel
  • Best Travel Insurance Company – HL Assurance

Travel Consumers Stand to Gain
