Resorts World Sentosa Suspends Most Operations

Even this island resort is closing its doors for now!

In light of the ‘circuit breaker’ measures introduced in Singapore to contain the spread of COVID-19, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has temporarily suspended all guest offerings including Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Dolphin Island, and casino as of Monday, 6 April 2020 until Monday, 4 May 2020.

This course of action undertaken by Singapore’s first integrated resort located on the island of Sentosa is in line with the government’s directives to suspend non-essential services.

While all the attractions, theme parks, museums and casinos are closed, selected restaurants and food and beverage outlets will remain open for takeaway and deliveries. Residents living in the vicinity can get their hands on grubs from Malaysian Food Street, Pizzeria, Osia Steak and Seafood Grill, and Feng Shui Inn bearing in mind that no dine-in is permitted.

As hotels are not allowed to accept new guests during this span of time, reservations for room stays from 7 April 2020 to 4 May 2020 will be cancelled and fully refunded. Existing hotel guests already checked into the plethora of hotels in RWS can continue to remain in the same place.

Rest assured that guests who have purchased tickets to the attractions or made reservations or bookings at the restaurants or hotels will be rendered full support and assistance.

RWS looks forward to the time when they can welcome guests from all over the world again. For more information, visit their website or Facebook page to stay updated on the latest news and developments.
