How can airplanes flock like birds in Los Angeles International Airport? Your mind must have been blown by this phenomenon. What you see is not always what you get. The airplanes were actually photographed separately for about 16 long hours by photographer Mike Kelley.
How did he do such a painstaking task? One normal day in Los Angeles, Mike felt like he needed to do something so an idea came into his mind. He used a tripod and photographed every single plane that flew across his frame. There were planes heading to destinations on six different continents. No wonder different flag carriers were captured in a single image. Lufthansa, Delta, China and ANA are quite visible. Can you spot your country’s flag carrier?
