Just place your ingredients in each corner of the wrap, fold, and place it in the toaster oven or on a frying pan. Ta-da! The perfect savoury breakfast, ready in minutes. 5. Pancake Cereal

Can’t decide if you want pancakes or cereal for breakfast? With this viral recipe, you can enjoy both at the same time! Pancakes and cereal are my top breakfast foods, so I had to try this recipe when it first started making waves on TikTok. If you make them right, the mini pancakes will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can pair it with butter and syrup, or even pour in your milk just like you would with cereal. Personally, I prefer butter and syrup – just because the milk makes the pancakes turn soggy really fast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp of granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Oil

Recipe

  1. Pour the wet ingredients (milk, eggs, butter) into a bowl. Whisk.
  2. Add in the dry ingredients. Whisk.
  3. Pour the batter into a piping bag. If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a teaspoon.
  4. Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grease the pan with a thin layer of oil.
  6. Using either a piping bag or a teaspoon, drop the batter into the pan.
  7. Once they start to bubble, flip the pancakes. They should be golden brown on each side.
  8. Pour the mini pancakes into a bowl and serve with milk, or butter and syrup.

6. Baked Oats

On the hunt for a nutritious breakfast that tastes like dessert? It’s time to try your hand at baked oats! Baked oats taste just like a cake that’s fresh out of the oven — and who can turn down cake for breakfast? From peanut butter to Nutella, different flavours of baked oats will surely tempt even the pickiest of eaters. Try the recipe below if you’re a fan of chocolate!

  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup

Smoothie bowls are delicious, but sometimes we just need an extra something to zhush it up. I don’t know about you, but I feel that having to crack something open always makes what’s on the inside 10 times better. This magic shell is a layer of chocolate that you need to crack open to get to your smoothie. Not only does it add some fun to your meal; you also get some extra chocolate pieces in your bowl.
