These findings were discovered by the travel booking website called Next Vacay, which took a look at the top trending travel destinations on TikTok. Next Vacay also cross-referenced the data against travel reviews on another booking guidance platform to consider other factors, such as weather, price points, and crowds.

In 2022, younger millennials and Gen-Z travelers are turning to the viral social media app for travel inspiration, unfiltered advice, and genius travel hacks,” said Next Vacay in an interview with T + L.
