Song Joong-ki is going to be the next Korea Tourism Honorary Ambassador. Move over Lee Min-ho. Captain Yoo Si-jin is here to take over!

If you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, Song Joong-ki is the star of the latest Korean Drama phenomenon, ‘Descendents of the Sun’, that has brought the K-Wave to new heights due to his boyish good looks, swoon-worthy pickup lines, and his if-he-smiles-at-me-one-more-time-i’m-gonna-just-die-SMILE.

With Song Joong-ki as the Korea Tourism Honorary Ambassador for 2016, it really is the best news ever for hallyu fans around the globe as we get to see our favourite boy more often in a series of dreamy TV commercials and promotional events! Get your eyes (and your hearts) ready, girls!

The ‘Descendents of The Sun’ followers would be glad to know that the Korean tourism TV commercials will take place at the major locations where the drama was filmed, including Taebaek and Jeongsan in Gangwon-do.
