The Ultimate Guide to All of Shake Shack Singapore's Seven Outlets

The Ultimate Guide to Shake Shack Singapore & All Its Insta Worthy Outlets

Dining on burgers in style? Yes, please!

Pastel colours, plants, the iconic neon green logo — I’m certain that most of us in Singapore will immediately associate these embellishments with Shake Shack. As of now, Shake Shack has cemented its spot in the local food and beverage scene with seven outlets across the island!

Before the rundown on the seven locations around our The Lion City, here are some of my personal recommendations if you’ve yet to visit the Manhattan-born fast food chain.

What should I order at Shake Shack Singapore?

Burgers and savoury snacks

If you’re a fan of mushrooms, why not try out their Shack Stack Burger? Offering you something a little different from their classic Shack Burger (which only contains their signature beef patty), it comes with a thicc deep-fried portobello mushroom to complement the meatiness of the patty! Did we mention that the deep-fried mushroom has a layer of cheese to go with it?

Don’t forget to add on a serving of their signature crinkle cut fries, which are a major improvement of what we’d find in the western stalls of our primary school tuckshops! Delightfully golden brown, crispy, and salty, dipping the fries in the accompanying cheese sauce makes it the perfect side to your burger.

If you’re up for a little more heat, Shake Shack Singapore even has an exclusive, limited-time only array of jalapeño ranch menu items! From their Jalapeño Ranch Burger, Jalapeño Ranch Chik’n, and Jalapeño Ranch Fries, this heat might call for a beverage to cool yourself down. (My next reco will surely do the trick!)

Drinks and dessert

For milkshakes, my favourite is the Black & White, which is Shake Shack’s rendition of a cookies and cream milkshake; I can never resist a good oreo-based sweet treat. However, do take note that Shake Shack’s milkshakes are among the thickest on the market. Certainly indulgent and rich, a Shake Shack shake will leave your sweet tooth nothing short of satiated!

And of course, we can always trust that there’ll be a local twist to the menu to satisfy local taste buds. Featuring the Singapore Exclusive Pandan Shake: Similar to chendol, enjoy this treat of pandan, coconut, and gula melaka crumble. An amalgam of creamy and crunchy textures is sure to make this dessert a pleasant one!

However, if you’d like a refreshing option instead, try their Fifty/Fifty! Half lemonade, half organic iced tea, we’re certain this will be a thirst-quenching beverage to battle the heat. It’s neither too sweet, nor too strong in tea flavour: the perfect balance.

Fun fact: Shake Shack’s menu item, ‘Concretes’, is a custard blended dessert. Since each Shake Shack Singapore outlet has unique Concrete flavours, why not add visiting all the outlets in Singapore to your bucket list to find out what each branch has to offer?

Shake Shack outlets in Singapore

1. Neil Road

My personal favourite, the Shake Shack Singapore outlet at Neil Road is the quintessential representation of what I picture Shake Shack to be. With pink pastel walls, animal-themed artwork, and plants, it’s certainly a bright and welcoming oasis that is quite unlike any other fast food establishment in Singapore.

The building is easy enough to spot along Neil Road (and within the Tanjong Pagar area) as it has been repurposed from a heritage building built back in 1924! Its exterior even boasts an eye-catching, colourful mural that will make it hard to miss.

2. Liat Towers

Located in the heart of Singapore’s most famous shopping district is our island’s third Shake Shack outlet, this time occupying the space where an old McDonald’s outlet used to be (calling all Millennials who used to hang out here!).

A cosier and smaller outlet, this particular Shake Shack branch usually has longer waiting times as foot traffic in this area is higher as well. My tip is to head there early to get a queue number, then pop on over to the nearby malls while you wait for your turn to dine.

To accommodate the high foot traffic, this Shake Shack outlet has set up a beverage kiosk which serves draft hand-shaken and sparkling lemonade, local craft beer, and cold brew for a convenient grab-and-go system! Did we mention that these beverages are exclusive to this outlet as well?

Opening hours: Sunday – Thursday, 10AM–10PM; Friday – Saturday, 10AM–10.30PM

Address: 541 Orchard ROad #01-01, Liat Towers, Singapore 238881

3. Great World City

In recent years, Great World City has undergone renovations and become a more modern and spacious shopping mall, unlike the times when I’d visit it as a child. As part of its renovations, the sixth Shake Shack outlet has made its debut in the River Valley area! Calling all nearby residents — you can now enjoy a juicy burger or indulgent milkshake without having to travel too far.

With navy blue and salmon banquettes, bright green wood panelling, and bamboo detailing, this Shake Shack Singapore outlet has a slightly different colour scheme, but still retains the aesthetic appeal that we all know Shake Shack to boast.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 11AM–9.30PM; Saturday – Sunday, 10AM–9.30PM

Address: #01-101 Great World, 1 Kim Seng Promenade, Singapore 237994

4. Jewel Changi

Ah, do you remember the times when we’d read about the snaking long queues that formed when Shake Shack first debuted in Singapore? Not long after Jewel Changi first opened, I remember seeing some of my friends’ Instagram Stories where they’d wait almost two hours in the queue just to snag a seat!

Of course, now that there are many other outlets in Singapore, the queue at Shake Shack Singapore in Jewel Changi no longer requires you to stand in line for more than ten minutes. I’d say, however, that a trip here is still worth it because there’s so much more at Jewel Changi to explore after your meal!

Also, this outlet is the biggest on the list, spanning two floors; make your way up for an elevated dining experience!

Opening hours: Monday – Sunday, 10.30AM–10PM

Address: 78 Airport Boulevard, Jewel Changi Airport #02-256, Singapore 819666

5. VivoCity

Now, you can munch on Shake Shack’s most famous menu items by the waterfront! It’ll make the perfect prelude or epilogue to your beach adventure at the neighbouring Sentosa islands.

You can even choose to dine here at night after galavanting through Singapore’s largest retail space! With a set up of fairy lights by the boardwalk during nightfall, it will surely make for a picturesque al fresco dining experience.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 11AM–10PM; Saturday – Sunday, 10AM–9.30PM

Address: 1 Harbourfront Walk, #01-163/164, VivoCity, Singapore 237994

6. Suntec City

Located in the west wing of the mall, the interior of Suntec City’s Shake Shack outlet boasts a minimalist design with terracotta tile flooring, arched wall features, and banquettes in warm wood and leather.

You’re certain to feel a sense of calm and serenity as you dine here while indulging in their signature menu items!

Opening hours: Monday – Sunday, 10AM–10PM

Address: 3 Temasek Boulevard, #01-357, Suntec City, Singapore 038983

7. Gardens by the Bay

The newest on the list, this outlet made its public debut very recently — on Saturday, 28 Aug 2021! Paying homage to its surrounding lush forest, Shake Shack Gardens by the Bay boasts a florally abundant interior designed by the horticulturalists of the Gardens by the Bay team. Besides the visually pleasant interior, expect to tuck into some themed concretes too, from Berries by the Bay to Tropic Like It’s Hot! Talk about a pun-tastic treat that’s perfect for a warm day out.

Above all, we’re sure that this newest outlet will welcome a lot of foot traffic from people enjoying a day out in the sun.

Opening hours: Monday – Thursday, 11AM–8PM; Friday – Sunday, 10AM–9PM

Address:18 Marina Gardens Dr, #03-02/03, Singapore 018953

And there you have it: The ultimate guide to all seven Shake Shack outlets across Singapore. Which ones have you yet to explore?
