The idea of late Italian researcher and museographer Ettore Guatelli, Museo Guatelli contains a collection of more than 60,000 artefacts related to the everyday lives and work of men and women, artistically put together in an old farming estate in Parma, Italy.

Mr. Guatelli lived his entire life on the estate believing that these things have their own stories to tell because they bear witness to the daily lives of people. Today, the estate is managed by a private foundation that continues Mr. Guatelli’s passion for these seemingly ordinary things. I bet you would’t appreciate your bags, shoes and other personal stuff the same way again after visiting this museum.
