Keukenhof is a beautiful masterpiece of flora located in Lisse, Netherlands. Its architectural garden design is absolutely amazing. No wonder it is called “the most beautiful spring garden in the world”. The flower park is not just filled with the infamous Dutch tulips but also hyacinths, daffodils, carnations, roses, and many more. Schedule
The garden is open daily from 8am to 7.30pm from the months of March up to May only.
How to get there
The most convenient way to reach the park is through the Keukenhof Express which departs from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or Leiden Central Station. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and it takes around 30 minutes to reach the garden. You can also use a car since there are parking lots available within the vicinity of the park.
Ticket information
Tickets can be bought from selected ticket offices or online. It is highly recommended to buy the tickets in advance to avoid long queues. To save money, buy the combi bus + entrance ticket.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available within the vicinity of the garden for real-time selfie or Instagram updates.
Food / restaurants
There are food carts and restaurants scattered around the park. You can also bring your own food and have a picnic inside the garden.
Additional tips
Do not forget to bring extra batteries for your camera or smartphone because Keukenhof is the perfect backdrop for all sorts of photo shoots.
