I take pictures of children whenever I travel. For me, children symbolise joy and I want to reflect this through my photos as I travel to developing countries. https://rusbank.net/offers/microloans/dengi_na_kartu.
Children, however, are also vulnerable; they can easily become victims of violence and other atrocious crimes. As responsible adults / travellers, it is therefore our mission to uphold the rights of children and help them wade through life with smiles on their faces.
I’m presenting my travel photos in black and white to show the contrast between joy and vulnerability, and to remind ourselves the importance of protecting our children.
“Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.”
