I know it, you know it, your entire family knows it – the Salted Egg Yolk Burger is in town! I’m sure all of us have been drooling over McDonald’s new item on the menu. With sauce practically oozing from beneath its toasted bun shelter, the Salted Egg Yolk Burger deserves to be the talk of the town!

McDonald’s sure knows how to add a local twist to their menu and win the hearts (and taste buds) of their patrons around the world. If Singapore has Salted Egg Yolk Burger, what about other parts of the globe? Surely in other countries there are other mouth-watering McDonald’s specials which you’ve never sampled before? We just can’t let this one go. One look at that bed of salted egg yolk sauce sitting like a king atop its throne of chicken and you’ll be absolutely certain that you’ll want to sink your teeth into this one.

Red’s the colour of love, passion – and also the colour of the aptly-named Red from the Angry Birds franchise! With the feature film already on our shores, there’s no better way for you to get in the mood with this hot hot burger!

Valentine’s Day with your loved one could not have been sweeter than this. Picture yourself breaking the crisp, succulent crust of the Pinky Choc Pie with your teeth and finding your taste buds treated to the warm chocolatey goodness within. Take me back to when this was on sale, please!

I’m almost 100% sure that we all love matcha. If you don’t, this might just change your mind. Imagine the sight of mesmerising green matcha swirls and crumbly cookie bits on your ice-cream. Absolutely heavenly!

Yes, I know that the Euro 2016 is over now, but just bear with me and take yourselves two years back to the World Cup 2014, when burgers like the McBrazil, McSpain and the likes, were flying off the shelves. Nothing puts you in the football mood better than biting through juicy meat patties and football-shaped buns smothered in tangy sauces, amirite?

Sometimes we get bored of the bun. We’ve been there before, I’m sure about it – and that’s perfectly fine! There was an alternative way back then: the Rice burger! Perfect way to get back in touch with our Asian roots, that’s for sure. I don’t know about you, but this is one way to eat healthy and have McDonald’s at the same time, right?

8. Dark Chocolate/Reese’s McFlurry (Malaysia)

Now I don’t go to McDonald’s that often – shocker, I know – but if I do, the one thing that I almost never leave without is the Oreo McFlurry. But oh em gee do you see my jaw dropping at these?! It’s Reese’s and Dark Chocolate McFlurries, guys! Absolutely incredible. If this doesn’t make you drool, I don’t know what will.

Remember this spicy challenge back in Singapore? I do, too. The Flaming Green Curry burger wasn’t really spicy to me, but then again my friends call me a freak for my spiciness tolerance. It’s been a long time since I’ve been challenged – and if you’re looking for a challenge like me, you’ll be wishing for this to return to our shores.
