Calling all millennials of Singapore! If you grew up watching nostalgic Cartoon Network shows in the 90’s like the Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10 and Johnny Bravo, you can relive your childhood days soon on board Cartoon Network Wave – the world’s first Cartoon Network-themed cruise ship.

Turner, the global media giant behind Cartoon Network, has partnered with Oceanic Group, Asia-Pacific’s leading cruise management company, to launch a Cartoon Network themed cruise ship with an adorable exterior that features Jake the Dog from Adventure Time. The ship is set to make its maiden voyage from its home port of Singapore in late 2018. With 11 guest decks, a capacity of 2,000 guests and the entire onboard experience inspired by iconic Cartoon Network stars, Cartoon Network Wave is one magical haven for Toon-loving travellers and families.

Here are some of the captivating features of this one-of-its-kind cruise ship:

Luxurious triplex suites

Cartoon Network Wave has 800 fully-themed cabins, including two triplex – or three-storey – suites, and four different room types.

The luxurious triplex suites consist of two bedrooms, a private Jacuzzi, a family lounge and a spacious Cartoon Network-themed play corner that can double up as a third sleeping area. The play corner even comes with an in-house slide for kids to play with!

Night glow parties

Dance, party and let your hair down at the thematic night glow parties onboard Cartoon Network Wave. From retro nights and foam parties to circus shows with famous Cartoon Network characters such as We Bare Bears and Teen Titans, guests are guaranteed a fun and enjoyable time.

Rope Adventure Park

With multiple elaborate rope courses to overcome, kids can get their pulse racing at the Rope Adventure Park.

Young Tooniverse

Besides the Rope Adventure Park, kids from four to 12 years old can also roam around the indoor and outdoor spaces of Cartoon Network Wave, including the semi-outdoor Toonix Pools. The Toonix Pools are definitely excellent cool activities for fighting the perpetual warm weather.

Bravo’s Place

Fans of the muscular Johnny Bravo, rejoice! Bravo’s Place, a Johnny Bravo-themed alfresco burger bar is opening its doors in Cartoon Network Wave and guests will get a chance to immerse in the bubbly atmosphere of this cartoon-themed cafe.

Power Cage

Not meant for the faint-hearted, Power Cage is a jaw-dropping circus show with stuntmen pulling off high-level amazing acts that will leave guests dumbfounded.

Indoor Herb Garden

Guests can relax their mind and inhale the fragrant aroma of herbs such as basil, rosemary and thyme at the cosy indoor herb garden in Cartoon Network Wave. There might even be a chance of bumping into Chowder gathering some herbs for his dinner!

With 11 decks of shopping, leisure and entertainment facilities alongside nine restaurants, pubs and bars offering gastronomic options with Cartoon Network elements, there is something for everyone of all ages on board Cartoon Network Wave.

Cartoon Network Wave will be docked at Singapore Cruise Centre and sail to 13 destinations in the region including Malaysia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and Japan. According to the website, ticket prices start at S$200 per night.
