First opened in Tokyo in 2003, the Moomin Cafe has opened its doors to Southeast Asia with its new branch in Tsim Tsa Tsui, Hong Kong. The Moomin Cafes are inspired by the adventures of the Moomins, the main characters of the book series and comic strip by Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson (1914-2001). The opening of Moomin Cafe Hong Kong this year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Moomin creator.

If you’re visiting Hong Kong this holiday season, be sure to check out Moomin Cafe Harbour City at LCX, Ocean Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui. It is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
