People always find ways to convert extreme conditions into surreal places that are sure to capture everyone’s heart. Coming May 2015, IceCave will open its doors to give everyone a chance to experience what it’s like to journey through one of the Iceland’s largest glaciers.
Found underneath Langjökull (Long Glacier) ice cap in Iceland, IceCave will be one of the world’s biggest ice structures. It’s not just a simple ice tunnel but an amusement site that features spectacular network of caves, ice sculptures, an exhibition area, a restaurant and even a chapel. This ambitious project is expected to attract 30,000 visitors per year.
