After more than a decade, the Black Parade is finally marching into Singapore.
My Chemical Romance (MCR), the band that shaped an entire generation of eyeliner-wearing teens and late-night lyric scribblers, will be playing live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 28 April 2026. If you’ve ever whispered “I’m not okay” and meant every word, this might be the moment you’ve been waiting for.

What to expect from the concert

This isn’t just a comeback tour. It’s the Long Live The Black Parade tour, which will include a full performance of MCR’s most iconic album, The Black Parade, to mark its 20th anniversary. That means you can expect to hear the entire album live from start to finish, complete with theatrical visuals, the band’s signature flair for drama, and probably a few thousand voices singing along to Cancer like it’s a hymn.
While the full setlist hasn’t been revealed, fans can likely look forward to a mix of emotional bangers and punk-inflected anthems. You might come for Welcome to the Black Parade, but don’t be surprised if you leave hoarse from screaming Famous Last Words or Helena.
Tickets go on sale via SISTIC on 11 July 2025 at 10 am. Prices range from S$148 to S$328, and they’re expected to sell out fast.
A long-awaited return

MCR last performed in Singapore in 2007. Since then, they’ve disbanded, reunited, and steadily rebuilt their legacy through surprise singles and live shows across the world. For Southeast Asian fans, this 2026 tour is the first real chance to see the band in their full, darkly glittering form.

Whether you used to quote The Ghost of You in your MSN status or only discovered them through TikTok, there’s something timeless about the way MCR channels pain, beauty, and chaos into one cathartic, loud-as-hell experience. They never promised you tomorrow, but this show feels like the next best thing.

Final thoughts

MCR once said that when you’re dead and gone, you might still carry on. In 2026, that promise is alive and louder than ever. This isn’t just a concert. It’s a full-blown return to the world that The Black Parade built — one where sadness is sacred, eyeliner is war paint, and a good scream can feel like healing.
Whether you’re going solo or with your old MySpace crew, it’s time. The Black Parade is calling, and you don’t want to miss the march.
