Singapore has done it again! And this time, it’s our airport bathrooms that are making headlines. Skytrax’s 2025 global ranking has officially named Singapore Changi Airport as having the Best Airport Bathrooms in the World, beating out major hubs such as Tokyo Haneda, Seoul Incheon, and Hong Kong International Airport.

For most travellers, airport bathrooms aren’t usually something worth mentioning — let alone celebrating. But Changi Airport continues to raise the bar for what a world-class travel experience should look like, right down to the smallest details.

A win that reflects Changi’s commitment to comfort and cleanliness

According to Skytrax, Changi topped the list for its exceptional cleanliness, thoughtful design, spacious layouts, and consistently high standards of maintenance. The ranking evaluates factors such as hygiene, accessibility, ambience, functionality, and overall comfort — areas where Changi clearly excels.

Many travellers have praised features such as:

• Touchless faucets and flush systems

• Bright, well-ventilated interiors

• Private nursing rooms and family-friendly changing areas

• Rest areas and vanity spaces are great for freshening up between flights

Asia dominates the rankings, but Singapore leads the way

Skytrax’s 2025 list shows a strong Asian presence, with airports like Tokyo Haneda, Seoul Incheon, Bahrain International, Hong Kong International, Kansai International, New Chitose, Tokyo Narita, Taoyuan, and Fukuoka Airport rounding out the top 10.
