This Airline is Spoiling its Passengers with Satin Blankets and Luxury Duvets On Board Flights

British Airways sure knows how to put us to a great night’s sleep, even in the air.

Dedicated to giving its passengers a great night’s sleep in the sky, British Airways has partnered with the iconic British luxury lifestyle brand, The White Company, to supply top-notch bedding and amenity kits to the airline’s Club World service.

This bespoke set of luxury products include: an elegant day cushion, a double-sided pillow designed for day and night use (featuring cosy grey fabric on one side and crisp white cotton on the reverse), a super-soft woven blanket with satin trim, a luxury duvet, a padded mattress cover, an amenity kit containing products from The White Company’s spa collection, and a super-soft jersey eye-mask.

This initiative is part of British Airways’ £400 million customer investment plan, with a focus on excellence in the premium cabins and more choice and quality for all.

The airline is also introducing a number of measures on board to maximise available shut-eye time for customers in Club World. Breakfast cards will be given out so customers can select if they wish to be woken for breakfast and if so, what they would like. In the autumn, a new restaurant-style premium dining service will begin in Club World, with display trolleys allowing customers to select dishes from a choice of freshly prepared starters and desserts.

All Club World business class passengers can also enjoy the facilities at the Arrivals lounge, which includes showers, breakfast and complimentary Elemis spa treatments. Passengers can enjoy bubbling champagne at the exclusive Galleries Club lounges on their departure as well.
