Sneak Peek: Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs — Opening in June 2024

The highly anticipated Fantasy Springs comprises three areas modelled after the Disney films Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan.

The highly anticipated Fantasy Springs port in Tokyo DisneySea will officially open on 6 Jun 2024, marking the park’s largest expansion since its opening. Fantasy Springs is Tokyo DisneySea Park’s eighth themed port.

Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs comprises three areas: Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land. Each area was respectively inspired by the popular Disney films Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan

Frozen Kingdom

Frozen Kingdom is a Frozen-themed area modelled after the beautiful kingdom of Arendelle. The architecture is distinctly Nordic and brings Arendelle to life. Here, you’ll find intricately designed buildings, including the Royal Banquet of Arendelle restaurant and Oaken’s OK Foods — run by none other than Oaken himself!

Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey

In this attraction, guests embark on a boat voyage that takes them through the events of the film Frozen. The water ride centres on the themes of adventure and true love, and features hit song titles from Frozen, including “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, “Love Is An Open Door”, and “Let It Go”. This ride lasts for six and a half minutes. 

Rapunzel’s Forest

Meanwhile, Rapunzel’s Forest brings the colourful world of Tangled to life. Here, guests will find the tower in which Rapunzel lived when she was a child, as well the The Snuggly Duckling restaurant. 

Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival

In this water ride, guests embark on a romantic gondola tour, following Rapunzel on her adventurous journey to see her beloved floating lights at the Lantern Festival in Tangled. The attraction features iconic song titles from Tangled, such as “When Will My Life Begin” and “I See The Light”. This ride takes about five minutes.

Peter Pan’s Never Land

Peter Pan’s Never Land is a Peter Pan-themed area that invites guests to embrace their whimsical side and boundless imagination. Here, you can explore the fairy valley aboard Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies, or savour a meal inspired by the Lost Boys in the Lookout Cookout restaurant.

Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure

This attraction brings guests on an epic adventure through Never Land. With Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Kids, guests will embark on a mission to rescue John from Captain Hook and his band of pirates. The ride features key characters from Peter Pan including Wendy, Michael, the mermaids, Tiger Lily, and more. This ride is about six minutes long.

How to gain access to Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs

To enter Fantasy Springs and enjoy its new attractions, guests are required to have a Standby Pass (available free of charge) or Disney Premier Access (available for a fee) for eligible attractions in Fantasy Springs. Guests may obtain both types of passes via the Tokyo Disney Resort App after entering Tokyo DisneySea.
