Atop Burj al-Arab, the fourth highest hotel in the world, sits the world’s highest tennis court. Standing approximately 321m (1,053 feet) high, the tennis court is circular in shape and when it is not being used as a court, it doubles up as a helipad. This grassy patch of land is so close to the edge, it’ll make you weak in the knees.

Famous players, Roger Federer and Andre Agassi were invited to play a friendly game at the court before their competition at the Dubai Duty Free Men’s Open. They cautiously looked over the edge before playing their match. While the court is large enough to accommodate a full-length game, it must have been a frightening experience!
