Dead Sea Jordan Sets the Largest Floating Human Image

Jordan has recently set the Guinness World Record for the largest floating human image along the shorelines of the Dead Sea. See how 261 hotel staff did it!

If the Philippines has set the record for the largest flaming image, Jordan has recently set the Guinness World Record for the largest floating human image. Last October 30, a total of 261 hotel staff in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan participated and joined forces to create the “Peace Image” along the shorelines of the Dead Sea.

This event is geared towards promoting tourism in Jordan, especially the Dead Sea region. The area is believed to have been home to five Biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Adman, Zebouin and Zoar (Bela). Visitors don’t only get enjoy the beauty of this historical place, they can also benefit from the healing properties of the Dead Sea.
