Crowds began to fill in as early as 10am on the first day of Travel Revolution, and travel deals are being snapped up as you’re reading this.

Great deals and attractions at Travel Revolution 2015

Hosted by VISA, this much-anticipated travel fair, happening from 24 to 26 July at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, has more than 70 travel agencies, national tourism organisations, airlines and other travel-related companies taking part this round.

To attract travellers, travel agencies are putting forth their best travel deals and throwing in exciting freebies too. “We aim to provide what’s best for our customers [and] what would also benefit our travel agencies,” said Ms Eva Wu, the General Manager of SA Tours and also a member of the organising committee for Travel Revolution. “At the end of the day, all travel fairs are going for is a win-win situation for both partners.”

Ms Wu also believes that support from partner banks and cooperation among exhibitors are the winning factors that contribute to creating the perfect travel fair, all of which Travel Revolution has successfully achieved.

Do your research before dropping by!

If there’s one advice that any frequent fairgoer would offer, it would be to do your research ahead of time. Knowing the best deals available before heading down to the travel fair will save you the trouble of comparing the best deals on the spot. Therefore, check out the list of deals available for Travel Revolution 2015 online before you go – and then zoom in to the booth of your choice.

Of course, jostling with the crowds is part of the travel fair experience. Ifa and Carolina, who were among the first few patrons of Travel Revolution, shared that the hustle and bustle of travel fairs end up being worth it because of all the amazing deals available.

Destinations that are popular with Singaporeans

Some of the best-selling travel packages are those to Europe and Japan, and contributing to the popularity of these destinations are their weakening currencies. China is a popular destination as well. While interest in travelling to Korea has dropped over the past few months due to the MERS outbreak, it is set to see a rebound soon – there has not been any new infections reported in the past two weeks and Korea seems to close to declaring itself free from MERS soon.

Freebies to look forward to!

Travel Revolution 2015 is an event not to be missed by travellers. Other than travel deals, there are also free bags, food and drinks available. So be sure not to leave with your hands (and stomach) empty!
