The construction was commissioned to Project Manager Jin Lee who intended to create an airport with resort-like amenities, interiors, and facade. The facilities of the terminal are also heavily inspired by the Incheon Airport in South Korea which is hailed as one of the best airports in the world.

Besides the passenger terminal, the airport also features separate buildings for cargo, control tower and power house. The management also boasts of centralised air-conditioning, natural light from the glass roofing and generators which will ensure 24-hour uninterrupted operations.
