No one would no longer need to manually build an igloo as Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, located above the Arctic Circle in the north-east corner of Finnish Lapland, offers a groundbreaking glass igloo accommodation good for two.
The glass igloos have been built from a very special thermo glass to maintain a normal room temperature. These igloos are also complete with toilet and luxury beds. If you’re lucky enough, you may be able witness the spectacular Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) – a colourful display of natural lights in the sky.
