They are definitely #couplegoals but you don’t really have to travel the world just yet. You can start small and discover your own country first. Ready? We’ve rounded up the best and most romantic spots in the Philippines where you can recreate your follow-me-to photoshoots with your special someone.

1. Mayon Volcano, Albay

Let the world-famous Mayon Volcano’s perfect cone be the witness of your unconditional love for each other. Yep, THE original follow-me-to couple, Murad Osmann and his now-wife Natalia Zakharova, came to the Philippines during the early half of 2016.

2. Chocolate Hills, Bohol

Another place they did not miss checking out here in the Philippines is the beautiful Chocolate Hills in Bohol. If you (or your girlfriend) would like to dress up as glamorously as Natalia then that is totally up to you.

3. El Nido, Palawan

Osmann’s awesome photo concept also inspired fellow traveller Christian LeBlanc and his girlfriend Laura Reid, who both hail from Canada. The couple started their Asian adventures at the beginning of 2015 and shows no signs of stopping. El Nido is one of their favourite places in the Philippines.

4. Kawasan Falls, Cebu

The Canadian couple also didn’t miss the chance to visit the adventure capital of Cebu, Kawasan Falls. Don’t you want to bring your significant other and take a dip in these cool blue waters, too?

5. Apo Island, Negros Oriental

Duuuude, they keep following us. #Gopro

When it comes to awesome travel photos, your creativity is the only limit. You don’t have to stay upright in all your follow-me-to photoshoots, why not offer a different angle instead? Take this underwater photo, for instance, where you get a glimpse of beautiful photo-bombing turtles.

6. Salagdoong Beach, Siquijor

The mystical island of Siquijor might sound like a scary place to visit for many travellers but there’s really nothing to fear. LeBlanc and his girlfriend once visited the small island and you might consider that, too. And, while you’re at it, don’t forget to drop by Salagdoong Beach (where this picture is taken) and cliff dive together. Romantic, huh?

7. The Ruins, Negros Occidental

You don’t have to go to Taj Mahal to visit an architecture that has a story of true love behind it. The Ruins in Negros Occidental is a perfect testament to a man’s love for his wife although, sadly, it was burned down during the Second World War.

8. Sevilla Hanging Bridge, Bohol

If you can’t take enough of Bohol, you can also go and visit this hanging bridge which crosses the enchanting Loboc River. Take a follow-me-to shoot first and don’t let go as you cross the bridge together.
