Competing in one of the most physically demanding sports of the Games, Faiz is flying the Singapore flag in the Alpine Skiing events. Alpine Skiing involves racing down snow-covered slopes at high speeds, navigating through fixed gates with precision and agility.

As the only athlete from the Little Red Dot, Faiz also had the distinct honour of serving as the flagbearer for Singapore during the Opening Ceremony at the San Siro Stadium.
