Another Lion Air plane, this time a Boeing 737-900, crashed into metal post as it was preparing for takeoff at Fatmawati Airport in Bengkulu, Indonesia. The flight was headed to Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Thankfully, there were no casualties this time, except for the plane and the post, which were both damaged.

All 145 passengers of Lion Air Flight JT-633 were asked to disembark as the aircraft was grounded. Extensive damage found on its left wing, which was the part that hit the metal post, deemed the aircraft unfit for flying.
