1. The Circle Hostel La Union

Location: Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union

San Juan, La Union has established itself as the longboard capital of Luzon which means that you can catch waves and have an instructor to help you do just that. And the best part is that they also provide among the cheapest accommodation rates there is and you can mingle with fellow travellers and surfers during your down time, too.

2. Pacific Recreation Kamp

Also known as the PaRK, this place is mainly a developed campsite that offers all sorts of activities for the adrenaline seekers. Within the grounds, they have basketball, lawn bowling and volleyball but you can also go ahead and try surfing and stand-up paddle boarding. If you want even more adrenaline rush, you can also try out their whitewater rafting and nature trail hiking activities.

3. Puraran Surf Beach Resort

Location: Puraran, Baras, Catanduanes

If you want to get stoked but still stay on the safe side, the instructors at Puraran Surf Camp can provide just that. What’s even better is that you can stay at their surf house, along with 14 other people where you have separate beds plus access to a shower area, a bathroom and a kitchen. How cool is that? The best time to visit the place would be from March to August for beginners and from September to October for the more advanced.

7. Turtle Surf Camp

Location: Barangay Catangnan, General Luna, Siargao
