From 11 June to 19 July 2026, SIA will broadcast World Cup matches live onboard via Sport 24 on its KrisWorld Live TV service. This means passengers can catch matches in real time while travelling, turning long-haul flights into an unexpected game-day experience.
Whether you’re flying to Europe or Asia, you’ll be able to follow your favourite teams and soak in the tournament atmosphere mid-flight.
A Game-Changer for Travelling Fans
For many Singapore-based travellers, flight times often clash with major sporting events. With live World Cup screenings now available onboard, football fans no longer need to rely on patchy airport Wi-Fi or risk missing key matches while in transit.
“Bringing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup on board keeps our customers connected to one of the world’s biggest sporting events,” said Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at SIA.
Where Can You Access It?

KrisWorld Live TV is available on selected aircraft, including:
Boeing 787-10
Boeing 737-8
Airbus A350-900 (selected fleet)
Boeing 777-300ER (selected fleet)
Live broadcasts will depend on satellite coverage, route, and regulatory approvals, so availability may vary depending on your flight.
What to Expect More Than Just Football?
Beyond live matches, KrisWorld continues to offer an extensive entertainment library with over 1,900 options. Travellers can choose from blockbuster films, popular TV series, music, and more—perfect for those travelling with non-football fans.

So if you’re travelling between June and July 2026, you might just find yourself cheering alongside fellow passengers, at somewhere high above the clouds!
