Space fanatics and hopeful moon landers, you now have an opportunity to pursue one of your greatest ambitions of circumnavigating the moon! Maezawa initially announced his intentions to take a trip to the moon in 2018 and opened the opportunity to artists. Surprisingly, his generosity to pay for the moon trip of lucky artists was brought about by his loneliness after a breakup. Now though, he’s offering this opportunity to people from all walks of life. Maezawa’s SpaceX mission even has a website called Dear Moon

According to the website, this will be the first civilian journey to the moon. The passengers will hop on board the rocket developed by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Maezawa has already purchased all the seats onboard the rocket. So yes, if you’re fortunate enough to be chosen by Maezawa, your journey to the Moon will be free of charge!

Interested? You can register right here on Maezawa’s website. The selection process will require applicants to be screened, submit an assignment, do a final interview, and get a medical check-up. Pre-registration is until 14 March 2021; after registering, you will be sent an email with further instructions.
