The Spiciest McDonald’s Burger Ever Comes With a Bottle of Milk

The Spiciest McDonald’s Burger Ever Comes With a Bottle of Milk

It's available in the UK and for a limited time only!

McDonald’s has served an array of bizarre dishes all over the world in the past. Whether they’re good or bad, the fact remains that it’s the most popular fast-food chain around even decades after it was founded. In 2021, it’s gone back to the basics by building on an already existing menu item. Only, McDonald’s made it more appetising than it already is — for lovers of spicy food, that is.

Meet the new McSpicy, said to be the spiciest McDonald’s burger yet and is available in select McDonald’s stores in the United Kingdom (UK) from 14 Jul 2021. Those in the country can also order it as a meal via the McDonald’s app, and with this, you can enjoy it with a bottle of milk just in case the flavours happen to be a little overwhelming for you.

McSpicy, the spiciest McDonald’s burger yet

The new McSpicy is priced at £5.49 or about S$10. It’s made of chicken fillet, lettuce, mayonnaise, and the usual sesame seed buns. The spicy part comes in the coating or marinade of the chicken. What’s in it is a mystery (as with most fast-food restaurants), but McDonald’s assures it’s their hottest burger to date.

Be warned, however. Aside from being served in the UK, the spiciest McDonald’s burger meal ever is only available for a limited time. Specifically, for six weeks until 24 Aug 2021. But that doesn’t mean you can’t order it beyond this time or even outside the country in the future. That will only happen if it does turn out to be really, really good — enough for the brand to continue offering it.

In the meantime, UK citizens and current residents can get their hands and teeth on the spiciest McDonald’s burger by visiting McDonald’s UK stores lit in the colours of the item. They’re either red, green, or yellow, depending on how their diners spice tolerance. When ordered via the McDonald’s app, it will likewise be delivered with a Happy Meal milk. A similar McSpicy is also offered at McDonald’s Singapore stores, but is not part of the same meal.
