Dating App Bumble Opens Its First-Ever Cafe in New York City

Will sparks fly at the Bumble Brew cafe?

Deciding where to go on a first date can be tricky — a fact that is painfully evident after spending months of being stuck at home and texting strangers on dating apps. To solve awkward meet-ups and put an end to the endless discussions on where to eat, popular dating app Bumble has launched its first-ever cafe and restaurant called Bumble Brew

Made in partnership with Delicious Hospitality Group (DHG) and Pasquale Jones of Delicious Hospitality Group, Bumble Brew will be opening to visitors in the Nolita neighbourhood of ManhattanNew York City, starting 24 Jul 2021.

What to expect at the Bumble Brew cafe

Designed with New York-based firm FLOAT Design Studio, Bumble Brew doubles as a casual all-day cafe during the daytime and a wine bar and restaurant with an intimate ambience at night. It can accommodate up to 80 people within its large dining room, cocktail bar, patio, and private dining section.

While ordering a cup of coffee is always a reliable option, Bumble Brew also offers an Italian-inspired menu that serves handmade pasta, vegetables, and shareable plates. Meanwhile, the breakfast menu includes food such as croissants and ricotta with plums, hazelnuts, and bee pollen.

True to the women-first concept that makes its dating app so unique, Bumble Brew’s restaurant playlist will also feature songs from mostly women artists and musicians.

A safe space for dining and dating in person

With this new cafe, Bumble is striving to provide a fun and laid-back environment for customers who need a casual place to meet up in person. In addition, the company hopes to create a multi-functional “safe space” where people can converse freely and interact meaningfully with each other.

“At Bumble, we’re fueled by bringing people together to build genuine connections – both on and off the app,” Julia Smith, Head of Brand Partnerships at Bumble, said in an official press release for the company.

If you’re lucky enough to be single and ready to mingle in New York City, put this all-day cafe on your itinerary and get ready for your next meet cute!
