AirBorneo to Launch Daily Kuching-Singapore Flights from 22 July 2026!

Singapore travellers will soon have a new direct flight option to Sarawak, as AirBorneo Airways prepares to launch its inaugural international service between Kuching and Singapore on 22 July 2026.

The new daily route will connect Kuching International Airport with Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4, marking a key milestone for the Sarawak-owned airline as it expands beyond Malaysia’s borders for the first time. Tickets went on sale on 13 July 2026 via AirBorneo’s official website and mobile app.

To mark the launch, AirBorneo is offering its Sarawakku Sayang Fare promotion, with all-in one-way Economy Class fares from RM399 and all-in one-way Business Class fares from RM871 for the Kuching-Singapore route. The promotional travel period runs from 22 July 2026 to 21 March 2027, with terms and conditions applying.

The daily Kuching-Singapore service is set to strengthen travel connectivity between Singapore and Sarawak, offering another option for leisure travellers, business visitors and Sarawakians based in or transiting through Singapore.

For Singapore-based travellers, the route opens up easier access to Kuching, one of East Malaysia’s most distinctive city breaks. The Sarawak capital is known for its riverfront, heritage architecture, local food culture, national parks and access to nature-based experiences, making it a practical short getaway for those looking beyond the usual regional city escapes.

According to AirBorneo, the new route will also support trade, tourism and investment between Sarawak and Singapore, one of the region’s key aviation and business hubs.

AirBorneo’s Kuching-Singapore flights will operate daily from 22 July 2026.

Kuching to Singapore
Flight MY363 will depart Kuching International Airport at 6.50pm and arrive at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 8.25pm.

Singapore to Kuching
Flight MY364 will depart Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 9.15pm and arrive in Kuching at 10.50pm.

The evening schedule makes the route especially useful for weekend trips, short breaks and business travellers who prefer to fly after the workday.

The inaugural flight will take place on 22 July, coinciding with Hari Sarawak, the annual celebration marking Sarawak’s self-government and continued development.

AirBorneo chief executive officer Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin described the launch as a significant step in the airline’s growth, noting that the new route extends Sarawak’s air connectivity beyond Malaysia’s borders.

He added that Singapore’s position as a vital regional and international hub would create meaningful opportunities for trade, tourism and investment between Sarawak and the wider region.

For travellers in Singapore, Kuching offers an easy introduction to Sarawak’s culture, food and natural landscapes. A short trip can include walks along the Kuching Waterfront, visits to heritage streets and museums, local dishes such as Sarawak laksa and kolo mee, and day trips to attractions such as Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, Bako National Park or nearby cultural experiences.

With daily flights and an evening departure from Singapore, the new route could appeal to travellers planning a long weekend in Kuching, as well as those using the Sarawak capital as a gateway to wider Borneo itineraries.
