This August, the Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) is getting a crunchy local upgrade. Beloved homegrown snack brand Tai Sun is bringing its new peanut creations to the iconic pink space in a special SG60 tie-up that runs throughout this August. Whether you enjoy sweet and salty combinations or just want to try ice cream in a different way, this collaboration is worth checking out.
Three new flavours, one playful twist

Crunchy x creamy combo is truly divine
As part of its SG60 celebration, Tai Sun is marking the occasion with the launch of three brand-new peanut snack flavours, featured exclusively at the Museum of Ice Cream for the month of August. For this limited time, MOIC’s retro-style Scream’s Diner will be serving soft-serve ice cream topped with these new creations, with each one bringing a distinctly local crunch to your dessert.

Chilli Peanut Crackers

Deluxe Mix

Samba Mix
The Chilli Peanut Crackers bring a bold kick that balances the sweetness of the ice cream. The Samba Mix is a fun and festive blend of coated peanuts and crispy crackers. If you prefer something lighter, the Deluxe Mix offers a smooth, roasted crunch that adds texture without overpowering your dessert.

The three exclusive flavours will only be available at Scream’s Diner this August!
The idea behind the collaboration is simple. Tai Sun’s nostalgic snacks are reimagined in a playful setting, giving visitors a chance to enjoy familiar flavours in a brand new way. The toppings are only available this August, so it’s a good time to plan your visit.

What else to look forward to at the Museum of Ice Cream

There are so many photo ops here that’s perfect for the ‘gram.
The Tai Sun toppings may be the headline this month, but they are just one part of the MOIC experience. If you have never been, the museum offers more than colourful walls and themed decor. It is designed as a flowing, hands-on journey that blends colour, play, and imagination.

We were going bananas exploring the place.
As you move through the space, you’ll explore over a dozen themed rooms that invite you to slow down and interact. There is the pastel-hued Rainbow Tunnel, the cheeky Banana Jungle, and the nostalgic Potong Room, each one offering a different vibe. The Craft Room lets visitors leave behind handwritten notes or drawings, while the Sprinkle Pool gives you a chance to dive into a sea of oversized plastic sprinkles. Each is also a perfect photo-op worthy space!

We did NOT expect a disco room in here!
The Infinity Mirror Room creates a moment of visual magic, and the Playspace is perfect for anyone who wants to bounce, climb, or simply laugh with friends. The experience is self-paced, so you can take your time and linger wherever you like.

And of course, the stars of the show!
Throughout the museum, there are unlimited ice cream stations offering soft-serve in different flavours. Throughout the museum, you’ll find unlimited ice cream stations serving soft-serve in a variety of unique flavours. Past favourites have included creative pairings like oolong longan potong, Tai Hua soy sauce with salted caramel bits, and strawberry speculoos — all part of the museum’s playful approach to reimagining familiar tastes.

The souvenirs were very pink, very cute.
Before you leave, make a stop at the museum’s retail corner, where you’ll find an entire wall of curated MOIC souvenirs. From postcards and stickers to pastel-toned sweatshirts and plushie keychains, everything is colour-coded and display-ready for gifting or collecting. Whether you’re looking for a small memento or just want to take a bit of the experience home, it’s a sweet way to round off your visit.

A small local twist with big flavour
At its heart, this collaboration is a meeting of two familiar names that are each playful in their own way. Tai Sun brings the crunch, MOIC brings the colour, and together they create a sensory treat that feels both new and nostalgic.

What a perfect way to spend SG60!
If you have been meaning to visit MOIC, or just want to see how chilli peanuts work as a topping, this is the month to go.
