So the usual destinations of Phuket, Bali and Bangkok are done and dusted. Thinking of where to head to next? Or cracking your heads on where to bring the family for the upcoming June holidays? Fret not, The NATAS Travel Fair is back this year, bigger and bolder! Singapore’s biggest travel extravaganza is happening this weekend, from 23 to 25 March 2018 at Expo Halls 4 and 5A – and it guarantees some of the best deals and an exciting time for the whole family!

A queue had already formed up when we were there at 10am and within an hour, the place was abuzz with activity and eager shoppers looking to snag irresistible deals. From what we gathered this morning, here are the top reasons why you should head on down to the NATAS Travel Fair this weekend!

Multitude of deals ft. exotic destinations!

The wide array of travel companies, hotels, banks and tourism boards present was simply mind boggling! Each and every booth had such appealing deals, that you might just be tempted to take a year off work to travel the world! With over 85 booths competing to offer you the best deals, you’re sure to at least book one (or two, or even three) trips! It is truly a one-stop shop for you to browse thousands of travel deals in one convenient location.

This year, there’s an increased focus on offbeat and hidden gem destinations. Universal Travel Corporation’s booth is one to look out for! Their whole booth is focused on lesser-travelled destinations such as Ecuador, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Tajikistan and the list goes on! Book a seat on their exclusive chartered flight to Mongolia, their top destination for the NATAS Fair 2018.

Immersive cultural experiences

Have an authentic sneak peak into various potential travel destinations right here at the NATAS Travel Fair! Several tourism boards have put in an incredible amount of effort to bring the best of their traditions and culture to you! The Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia’s booth was truly remarkable, with a nicely decorated boat fixture and traditionally dressed staff who were eager to answer all our questions.

Feeling tired from the trek through the mountain of travel deals and need a small sugar rush to keep you going? Be sure to visit the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s booth for a sweet treat of traditional snacks and goodies! Their booth was conveniently split into different sections for different regions of Thailand, from bustling Bangkok to charming Chiang Mai. Don’t forget to complete your mini tea break with some steaming hot Ceylon Tea at Sri Lanka Tourism’s booth!

Travel games and photobooths

Get ready to pose! The NATAS Travel Fair this year features many exciting games and novelties like an instant photo booth (complete with cute props!) that will keep you and the children entertained! If you’re headed to the fair on Saturday or Sunday at 4pm, be sure to keep a lookout for UOB Travel’s Guess the Combination game where you can stand to win a 3D2N stay at the swanky Club Med Bintan!

Cosplay mascots ft. your favourite superheroes!

Have a Meet and Greet session with Spiderman and friends! Genting Dream has brought your favourite on-screen characters to life in a bid to promote their interesting CosFest SEA cruises! Cruise companies have been a popular mainstay at the NATAS Travel Fair, so if you’re a Cosplay fanatic, this themed cruise might be of interest to you!

Planning for a holiday can be daunting and you might be clueless about where to start. If you’re not sure which destinations would fit into your budget, why not get a better idea by visiting the NATAS Travel Fair!
