The “My Ambition” essay is a staple of childhood, but why just write about a dream job when you can have a hands-on experience? At KidZania Singapore, kids can explore their future career paths and get a taste of what it’s like to be an adult.
Located on Sentosa Island, KidZania Singapore is a kid-sized city where children take charge. From engaging in simulated real-life workplaces, such as being a firefighter, doctor, or police officer, children perform “jobs” and earn their own currency, “kidZos.” This currency can be used to pay for goods and services within the city, teaching them valuable lessons about work, money, and financial literacy.
The park is designed for children aged 4 and above, though adults must be accompanied by a child under 18 to enter. It’s a place where learning and fun go hand-in-hand, complementing what children learn in school with realistic role-playing activities.
