Always wanted to travel solo in Japan but afraid of being alone in a foreign country? Fret not, RoBoHon to the rescue!

This adorable 19.5cm robot companion, that looks somewhat like a mini LEGO® figurine, can hold short conversations, snap Insta-worthy shots, and even dance and sing with you! Juxtaposing the capability of a modern smartphone, a projector, and a virtual assistant, RoBoHon does more than everything that your iPhone can do – from making calls and receiving emails to suggesting things to do based on your GPS location and even displaying images onto walls. History buffs will be glad to know that this cute little robot phone can even talk to you about recent renovations of Tokyo Railway Station and history of places in Japan.

Manufactured by Sharp, RoBoHon will be available for rental at Haneda Airport at a price of about US$12 (~S$16) per day, with marginal discounts for longer rentals. It will only be available in Japan from 26 May 2018 onwards for approximately US$1,800 (~S$2,415) each.
