Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) has launched Hong Kong‘s One-Day Unlimited Ride Bus Pass designed specifically for tourists. This convenient and affordable option makes navigating Hong Kong’s vibrant streets a breeze.

For just HK$55 (~S$9.57), you can enjoy 24 hours of unlimited rides on over 450 KMB routes.  This covers a wide range of your sightseeing needs, including daytime and overnight routes, so you can explore the city from sunrise to sunset (and beyond!). The pass is valid for most KMB routes, with just a few exceptions (K12, K14, K17, and K18). Don’t worry, these routes are typically used for specific destinations outside the main tourist areas.

Getting your hands on this amazing pass is simple.  Choose the method that best suits your travel style:

  • Mobile App (App1933): Download the app and head to the “eCoin” section. Enter the first four digits of your passport number and activate your pass. The app conveniently accepts various payment methods, including VISA, MasterCard, and AlipayHK.
  • Sales Points (19 Locations): Head to one of the 19 designated sales points located throughout the city, including the airport, Lok Ma Chau bus station, and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge bus terminus. Present your passport and you’ll receive a card with a 16-digit activation code. Download the KMB app and use the code to activate your pass.

Quick Tip: When boarding the bus, simply show the QR code on your app (or the activated card if you purchased it in person) to the bus driver.
