With Taiwanese airline EVA Air, you can fly onboard a Hello Kitty plane! Their Hello Kitty flights were first introduced in 2005, taking passengers from Taiwan to Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China, and the United States.
Immerse yourself in the complete experience. Hello Kitty boarding passes and baggage stickers will be issued during the check-in and Hello Kitty-shaped food and pillows are found onboard the plane. You will even find Kitty themed hand-washing liquid, hand lotion, tissues, and toilet rolls in the aircraft lavatory.
For collectors of Hello Kitty merchandise, don’t forget to get your hands on the limited edition items available. They are exclusive to EVA Air and you can purchase them duty-free onboard the flight.
Nine Kitty themed flights have been taking passengers from Singapore to Taipei since December 2014, and starting from 21 June 2015, a permanent EVA Air B777-300ER aircraft will be added to this route. This is due to the high demand, thanks to all the Hello Kitty lovers and travellers out there!
Come 21 June 2015, an additional EVA Air kitty-themed plane will permanently fly between Singapore and Taipei. In addition to flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, there will also be flights on Tuesdays starting from 1 July 2015.
Tickets for the flights in December 2014 were sold exclusively by the following travel agents: New Shan Travel, Green Holidays, CTC Travel, Chan Brothers Travel, CS Travel, and Dynasty Travel.
