Celebrate Boseong Green Tea Festival 2015 in Korea This May!

The Boseong Green Tea Festival 2015 will be held from May 22 to 26. Find out how to get there from Seoul and learn all about the Korean tea culture.

Planning a trip to Korea in May? Don’t miss the Boseong Green Tea Festival, the largest green tea festival in the country. Hosted at the famous Boseong Green Tea Plantations, this event is a true celebration of Korean tea culture.

The festival offers a variety of hands-on activities, most of which take place directly in the lush green tea fields. You can get a sense of the entire process by picking tea leaves, learning to make your own tea, and sampling various green tea snacks. Other events, including exhibitions and performances, also take place throughout the festival.

Held annually in May, the festival’s main goal is to promote high-quality Korean tea and highlight Boseong’s role as the birthplace and largest producer of commercial tea in the country. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the rich flavour and aroma of authentic Korean tea.
