Barcelona from S$769, Madrid from S$899, and promotional fares to dozens of destinations are available for booking until 23 Aug 2026.

Spain has been sitting on your travel wish list for far too long. If you have been dreaming of Barcelona's Gaudí landmarks, late-night tapas and sunlit Mediterranean streets, Emirates' latest promotion could be the nudge you need to start planning.

The airline is offering special fares from Singapore to Barcelona from S$769, while flights to Madrid start from S$899 in Economy Class. The promotion covers all cabin classes across approximately 60 destinations in Europe, the Americas, Africa and beyond.

Bookings must be made by 23 Aug 2026, with travel valid from 6 Aug 2026 to 31 May 2027. That generous travel window covers everything from a year-end family holiday to a spring escape, a romantic getaway or the solo trip you have kept postponing.

Barcelona is the spotlight here, with Economy Class seats starting from S$769. It is an especially tempting launch point for a longer Spanish adventure. Spend a few days wandering the Gothic Quarter, marvelling at the Sagrada Família and eating your way through neighbourhood markets, then continue by rail to Valencia, Madrid or Seville.

Prefer to begin in the Spanish capital? Fares from Singapore to Madrid start from S$899 in Economy Class. Madrid rewards travellers who like their city breaks rich in art, food and after-dark energy, with the Prado Museum, elegant boulevards and tapas bars that only begin filling up when many of us would usually be heading to bed.

Premium Economy fares start from S$2,049 to Barcelona and S$2,449 to Madrid. Business Class starts from S$4,619 to Barcelona and S$3,839 to Madrid, while First Class starts from S$18,949 and S$21,849 respectively.

As Emirates' Spain itineraries connect through Dubai, remember to compare the full journey rather than the headline price alone. Check your preferred departure time, layover duration, total travel time and fare conditions before booking.

Scared about a Middle East issue? Take note of the booking flexibility

Some Singapore travellers may understandably be more careful about itineraries connecting through the Middle East, particularly when changing regional conditions could affect flight schedules. If flexibility is high on your checklist, Emirates says customers departing from Singapore can access three useful benefits alongside this promotion:

  • A comprehensive travel insurance offering

  • One complimentary ticket date change

  • The option to hold a fare for 24 hours at no additional cost

The date change may offer valuable breathing room if your plans shift, while the 24-hour fare hold gives you time to confirm leave, accommodation or travel companions before committing to the fare. The insurance offering is another consideration for travellers looking for greater peace of mind.

However, these benefits should not be treated as a blanket guarantee against every possible disruption. The insurance, complimentary date change and fare-hold option are separate benefits, and the press release does not state that the insurance specifically covers conflict-related cancellations or being stranded during a journey. Before paying, read the applicable policy wording, fare rules and terms carefully. It is also sensible to check the latest flight status and official travel advisories closer to departure.
