Singapore’s newest attraction is catered towards adults just as much as families. Exploria at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is an immersive sensory experience using sophisticated multimedia technology. It’s for anyone who wants real immersion, not just photo stops. Spread across the space of a full-sized football field, it’s one of Southeast Asia’s largest indoor nature attractions. This Exploria visitor guide shows why it’s worth your time and how to get the most from your visit.

Exploria reacts to you. Touch an exhibit and watch light pulses travel to a massive LED globe in the centre. Your RFID wristband tracks everything: badges collected, points earned, hidden spots unlocked. Plus, you can save your profile for a full year. Each visit builds on the last.
Catch all three Disruptive Moment sessions (12:15pm, 2:15pm, and 4:15pm) to earn 1,000 bonus points and exclusive avatar items. Return as a couple or with family and friends to compete for the highest score.
While Europe’s natural history museums may have started the trend of interactive exhibits, Exploria goes further with real-time personalization and deep gaming elements. Continue reading for an Exploria visitor guide for adults and beyond.
Three Zones Adults Will Actually Enjoy
World of Darkness: Calm in the Deep Sea
This zone takes you into caves and deep oceans where weird creatures live in total darkness. Bioluminescent vampire squids, eyeless yeti crabs, and blind cave fish glow as you move past them. Your movements trigger the projections.
Everything here is dimmer and quieter than other zones. It’s designed for slow viewing, not rushing through. Honestly, it’s the closest you’ll get to real darkness and silence in Singapore.
Extreme Frontiers: Push Your Comfort Zone

This zone doesn’t mess around. You’ll feel Arctic cold down to 4°C as you track polar bears on melting ice. Then wind blasts you at 70 km/h during bird migrations. Underground, train vibrations shake the floor as pythons move through urban tunnels.
These simulators are designed to make your body react. You’ll deliberately be taken out of your comfort zone.
Infinite Wonderland: Beautiful Chaos

A pitch-black storm hits you first. Wind, lightning, total darkness. Then layers of sound and light slowly reveal hidden animals in rainforests and coral reefs. Your eyes need time to adjust. Creatures emerge from what seemed like random colour and noise.
If you spend your days controlling everything, letting go here can feel surprisingly good.
These five distinct worlds show how Southeast Asia now leads in blending technology with conservation stories.
Two Shows You Should Plan For
The Giants Show

During this eight-minute show, you’ll stand on a platform that lifts you into a 360-degree theatre. Mist, sound, light, and floor vibrations take you through 500 million years of evolution. The floor actually shakes to show you how big these creatures were.
Book your slot at least 2 hours prior on Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s website. It’s free with your ticket but fills up fast on weekends.
The Planet Awakens

This four-minute light show happens at the central LED globe. It runs at 11:15am, 1:15pm, 3:15pm, 5:15pm, and 7:15pm daily. Weekdays get an extra 8pm show. Weekends and public holidays get a 9:15pm show instead.
The synchronized lights and projections are mesmerizing. Arrive early for a good spot.
