If you have a holiday to the Philippines or Australia planned for later this year, it might be time to double-check your inbox.

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced a major "temporary network adjustment" affecting several key routes across Southeast Asia and Oceania. The budget carrier cited the ongoing Middle East crisis as the primary cause, noting that global jet fuel prices have more than doubled compared to 2025 averages.

For travellers in Singapore and Malaysia, this means several route suspensions and a significant drop in flight frequencies starting from April 2026.

Key Flight Disruptions (April to October 2026)

What to do if your flights are affected?

If your flight has been affected by these latest schedule adjustments, Cebu Pacific has outlined three primary pillars of support to help you manage your travel plans. Passengers have the option of a Free Rebooking, allowing you to move your flight to a new date within 30 days of the original departure without paying any fare difference.

Alternatively, you can opt for a Travel Fund, which stores the full value of your ticket in a virtual wallet with no expiry date, giving you the flexibility to book a future trip whenever you're ready.

For those who prefer to cancel entirely, a Full Refund is available through your original payment method, though processing times may vary depending on your bank.

For those looking to secure alternative arrangements, a bit of strategic planning is required. A helpful tip for the upcoming June or September school holidays is to book as early as possible and be prepared for slightly higher costs.

With the energy market remaining volatile, industry experts are warning that fuel surcharges across most major carriers are expected to rise starting from 1 April. Securing your seats now could save you from the inevitable price hikes expected later in the season.
