Best Brunch Spots in Singapore’s CBD

Among them, you’ll find Halal and vegan options too!

While Singapore’s famous for its affordable hawker food, the local cafe scene has also grown significantly over the years. This increased variety just makes dining out more exciting. In the CBD area at the heart of the city, there are a few places you can pop by for a sumptuous affair. Whether you’re a tourist or a local working in the area, here are ten unique brunch spots to check out:

1. Sarnie’s

Need a good ol’ Aussie food fix? Definitely check out Sarnie’s. This eccentric cafe, founded by Aussie Ben Lee, is located a convenient two-minute walk away from Telok Ayer MRT Station. Here, you’ll get to enjoy a wide range of delectable delights, from the much-loved Fry-Up (Sarnies’ take on the classic English breakfast) to Eggs Benedict with a unique green curry hollandaise! Apart from their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, Sarnie’s also has a menu dedicated entirely for brunch, which is available only on the weekends – the perfect way to begin your laid-back Saturday or Sunday, if you ask us!

Address: 136 Telok Ayer Street, Singapore 068601

2. Common Man Stan

This one’s for those who love brunch but also crave a good cuppa: Common Man Stan, a recently opened cafe along Stanley Street, offers a gastronomic brunch menu and more importantly, freshly brewed coffee. Common Man Stan is the second outlet of coffee chain Common Man Coffee Roasters and provides something the latter doesn’t have – a sleek and conducive environment for individuals (or small groups) to get work done. What’s more, their brunch menu offers vegetarian (and vegan, upon request) options such as Potato and Leek Rosti and Marmite Mushrooms.

Situated in the heart of Telok Ayer (right opposite Thian Hock Keng Temple) is Royz et Vous, a cosy cafe known for their quality coffee and western grub. Their brunch menu features two exclusive dishes: the Baked Salmon Chowder and Beef Sandwich. And if you can’t get enough after brunch, their dinner menu looks just as appetizing too – we hear the Brazen Beef is a must-try. Mocktails are also available, so why not unwind after a hearty meal with a Mango Mojito?
